Digital Picking System or Pick to Light (DPS/PTL) is a technology used to identify and track inventory location and movement. These electronic tags are mounted on shelves using rails and feature a light and display. These tags typically communicate via wired communication, lighting up corresponding locations and displaying picking information on the display. This helps workers quickly locate and complete their picking tasks.
